
Tera Wurfel
Tera is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with a deep commitment to both hands-on clinical care and the ongoing education of massage therapy professionals. With a client-centered approach, Tera blends strong clinical reasoning, evidence-informed techniques, and compassionate care to help patients achieve meaningful, lasting results. Tera has experience with acute and chronic soft-tissue injuries, deep connective tissue work, trigger-point therapy, myofascial release therapy, prenatal massage, cupping therapy, hot and/or cold stone therapy, paraffin wax, reflexology, and aromatherapy treatments. By listening closely to each patient, Tera develops a focused treatment plan to help restore their ability to live a pain-free, healthy life. Beyond the treatment room, Tera is a passionate educator who believes that great results start with strong foundations and lifelong learning. Actively involved in educating, mentoring, and professional development, Tera enjoys breaking down complex concepts into practical, approachable tools that therapists can confidently apply in real-world practice. Tera has been working as a massage therapy educator in both the private and public sectors since 2019 and currently works as a lab technologist in the Massage Therapy program at Niagara College. She is also recently completed her Bachelor if Arts in Adult Education (Honours) at Brock University. Whether working with patients, students, or colleagues, Tera is known for a thoughtful, engaging style that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and clinical excellence. This dual role as practitioner and educator allows Tera to continually refine her skills while contributing to the growth and integrity of the massage therapy profession.
